[2025 Ramadan] Day 29 Scatter as a blessing among the world and bring a spiritual revolution, Syria!

“known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.” ( 2 Corinthians 6:9-10)

God always works in opposition to the ways of the world, so we cannot realize the providence of our God by the logic of the world. Syria has been in a long war that has displaced approximately 12 million people, both internally and internationally. There has probably never been a country in history where half of the population has been displaced.

And while the war has seemingly ended and peace has come, with the fall of a longtime dictatorship and the installation of a new regime, the situation in Syria has become more chaotic. Just recently, fighting erupted between militants supporting the old regime and the current government forces, with more than 1,300 people killed in four days. The nightmare of civil war has returned, and the peace people hope for is slipping away.

But God is planning a powerful gospel advance in this situation, and His promises are being fulfilled!

In a foreign land where they have been displaced, these people are hungrily seeking the Lord, and our Lord is meeting them. Powerful prayer for evangelism and church planting has begun, especially in Syria, and God has since led us to encounter thirsty souls in prayer. The first souls we encountered and evangelized came right into the church, and now they are growing into disciples, hallelujah!

Church where disciples make disciples!

The Lord is specifically calling all Arab peoples to serve the Syrian people.

Every week, Arab youth from five different countries are coming to our local worship service. As they worship, the darkness and depression within them is leaving and they are experiencing true freedom! They are also confessing to being born again as they read the Bible together every day, especially during the recent month of Ramadan, and they are hearing about grace like never before. A group of young men who love Jesus and want to live by His teachings are going to a different Syrian church together every week to serve the next generation in Syria. The Lord is accomplishing what we have been dreaming and praying about for so long. It is happening with churches where locals are being raised up in leadership and disciples are making disciples! The next generation in Syria is also being raised up in the Word because of the teaching of Syrian youth. The next generation of Syrians will be planted as seeds of faith in their homes by the children and youth who come to our weekly meetings while their parents are unbelievers! We believe that the next generation of our friends in Syria will be missionaries who will take the gospel to unbelieving families and transform the Syrian nation.

We will see a revival of the Syrian nation by the power of the church where the gates of hades will not prevail!

They are not refugees, they are missionaries!

Sisters Y and R are about to embark on a year-long student mission trip. When two little sisters with nothing meet Jesus, they see that they can step out in powerful faith. They have nothing, so they confess that the Lord is everything, and they are experiencing the grace of the Word. Their home situation is not easy, and they have many mountains to climb before their mission, but for Jesus' sake, they will overcome them with faith. Recently, Sister R was kicked out of her job for sharing the gospel, but they are missionaries who are victorious with the gospel. Confessing that the gospel is the only truth, they will rise up as missionaries to change the destiny of nations!

God has been writing His story through the great migration of peoples, and even in the extreme circumstances of fleeing the homes of their relatives on the mainland, God's work is moving forward. God's amazing plan is being fulfilled as He scatters the world's largest refugee population, the Syrian refugees.

Isaiah 19 is being fulfilled as young people from the Arab and global churches go out as missionaries and rise up with a unified vision! It's not just young people who have chosen to lay down their lives for Jesus serving Syrian refugees together. Inside Syria, the gospel is also beginning to be carried out by young people. It's still a country no one wants to go to because it's too dangerous, but Arab and global church youth are going in and seeing incredible revival. Like the high priest who went into the holy of holies with all the iniquities of the people on his shoulders, when Syria goes into the holy of holies with all the sins and suffering of the Arabs on its shoulders, God's mission plan for the descendants of Ishmael, the 2.1 billion Muslims, will be fulfilled. We will see a great revival of God's end-time ways in the Arab world, the land where Islam began!

The Syrian civil war began with the cries of young people who wanted to revolutionize the world, but the result of that revolution was death, and they were forced to flee their homes as refugees. The hopelessness and hopelessness of a failed worldly revolution grips them, but the Lord is bringing a revolution of revival!

The Syrian people are rising up in a revolution of Jesus Christ that has completely changed their hopeless lives!

We are not refugees; we are missionaries!

Lord, please bring about the fulfillment of your covenant through the Syrian people!

[Today’s Prayer]

1. A mighty church is being built in Syria, where the gates of hades will not prevail. Let disciples rise up as a church that makes disciples! Let the Arab youth rise up together as the last disciples of the Lord, and let a new revival begin as never before!

2. We want more disciples to rise up in the midst of Syria! We want more young people from the global church to rise up. Let the youth of the global church go out and serve among the Syrian people, and let us see the fulfillment of Your covenant among the Arabs and Syrians!
