[Field Story] Egypt, which will free all nations from sorrow

Hello, I am Omar from Egypt.

I had an unfortunate childhood and was living a painful life with depression, anxiety, alcohol and drugs.

It was because of my father’s unprovoked violence, beatings, and abuse. When my father abandoned me and my younger brother, it left a huge, unforgettable wound in my life.

Then one day I heard shocking news. I also have an older sister, and a voice told her to read the Bible in a dream, she searched for it, read it, and became a Christian.

From then on, my sister sometimes told me what kind of person Jesus was. However, to me who had already lost the meaning of life, the love of Jesus Christ felt like it had no meaning.

After my older sister became a Christian, my mother and my siblings ran away from their father and lived in poverty, unable to survive. Then, something surprising happened to me.

With my older sister's active encouragement, I went to a worship service, and there I experienced the healing of Jesus.

It was unbelievable. At first, I had a hard time concentrating, but when Christians prayed for me, I felt that the evil and dark things deep inside my heart were coming out.

I feel like a new person! I don't know who Jesus is yet, but please pray with me that my life will heal the suffering people of this land and lead them to the right path, just as Jesus did for me.

18 For they have said to you, There will be scoffers in the last days, walking after their own ungodly lusts. 19 These men are divisive, carnal, and without the Holy Spirit. 20 Beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 1:18-21)

We hear the news of grace that God, who loves Brother Omar and his family more than anyone else, visited them through dreams and worship, ended all their suffering, and healed them.

I praise the Lord God, who has become the heavenly father of this family that was hurt and suffering after being abandoned by their earthly father, and who has been able to save them from the darkness of the world with His great power.

Lord, please accept the confession of Brother Omar, who wants to heal those who are suffering and want to know you more, and help him to long for the Lord every day, strengthen his faith, and help him stand in front of worship and the Word.

In these last days, when those who follow their own lusts and oppose God are exalted, I hope that the light of the glory of the Lord will shine brightly in Egypt and among all nations through the lives of Brother Omar and his family.

When we proclaim Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and spread His love among all the souls who are wounded and trapped in sorrow and despair in Egypt, may Egypt gain eternal peace and life through Jesus Christ.

In this way, let it be declared among all nations that Jehovah God is alive and powerful, and let the grace of confessing that He is the only Savior and Abba Father overflow.
