[Field News] U.S. Secretary of State "There will be a price on Yemeni rebels for their attacks … Discussing plans for an independent Palestinian state"

U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken, who is visiting the Middle East, warned Yemen's pro-Iran Houthi rebels who are attacking civilian ships in the Red Sea saying, "I make it clear that there will inevitably be consequences if such attacks continue." He said he also discussed ways to establish an independent Palestinian state.

According to Reuters on the 8th (local time), Secretary Blinken, who is visiting Saudi Arabia, met with reporters in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia on this day and said that Yemen's Houthi rebels must stop attacking.

Regarding the recent increase in tensions between Israel and Lebanon's pro-Iran armed faction Hezbollah, he said, "Escalation of war will not be beneficial to anyone- Israel, Lebanon, or Hezbollah," and "Israel has been clear on their stance that they are seeking to find diplomatic way to ensure the safe return of the Israeli captives."

Secretary Blinken said he also discussed with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the person in power in Saudi Arabia, ways to build an independent Palestinian state and the normalization of bilateral relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. “It is clear that there is interest in pursuing normalization of relations,” he said, proposing that “the conflict in the Gaza Strip must be ended and a practical plan for Palestinian statehood must be presented.”

Then Ezra the priest stood up and said to them, “You have been unfaithful; you have married foreign women, adding to Israel’s guilt. Now honor the Lord, the God of your ancestors, and do his will. Separate yourselves from the peoples around you and from your foreign wives.” (Ezra 10:10-11)

God who loves Yemen, we hear that the relationship between the United States and Yemen is worsening as Yemeni Houthi rebels continue to attack ships passing through the Red Sea due to the Israel-Palestine war.

Lord, please have mercy on Yemen. May you cut off the sin that is within those who are attacking and killing people, deceived by false Islam.

We believe that the grace of Jesus will cover all the sins of the Yemeni people as they come confessing their sins before you, God.

We also pray that the Israel-Palestine war will not spill over to the neighboring countries such as Lebanon and Iran.

May Jesus, the savior of all nations, reconcile the conflict between Isaac and Ishmael that has lasted for 4,000 years through the cross and lead all nations to God the Father.

May the Lord alone receive the praise of all nations!
