[Field Story] A means to win the crown of the nations by keeping the word of endurance

Hello, we are sisters Hanifa and Karim living in Sudan.

We were born into a family where our mother was a Christian and our father was a Muslim.

Because of our father's strong Islamic faith, we could not show any curiosity about our mother's religion.

Then one day, we happened to meet Christians in the village, and that was the first time we heard about the love of Jesus.

We were surprised by the completely different content from the Islamic religion. Our hearts gradually opened to the love of Jesus Christ, which is different from strict discipline and control.

Since then, we have been meeting with our Christian friends, reading the Bible together, and learning about Jesus. Fascinatingly, the more we get to know Him, the more we pray and rely on our hearts.

Yet, when we face our father, because of fear we still cannot say that we believe in Jesus.

However, Jesus came into our lives and transformed us. Please pray with us so that our faith in the Lord becomes stronger so that we may become true Christians who confess His love and grace with our mouths.

Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. (Revelation 3:10-11)

Thank you, Lord, for loving sisters Hanifa and Karim and helping them come to know the love of Jesus and come to faith by reading Your Word.

Every time they learn and keep these words of patience, may You protect the sisters and help them improve their relationship with their father, and give them enough faith to endure even when persecution comes.

We believe that no matter what tests and temptations come, God will pour out the grace that will help them overcome and step out of these temptations. May the sisters stand by the word and the cornerstone of faith every day, discern the truth, and be raised as leaders who turn many people to Jesus.

The Lord said He would come soon. Above all, help them to firmly hold on to the love of Jesus and protect the crown that they will return to the Lord, and also help them to become those who will take hold of the souls of Sudan and the crown of the nations.

Every time the sisters share this gospel and spread Your love, may the souls of Sudan remember the return of the Lord and rise together as a community that runs toward the nations in the face of the Word.

Therefore, may the Sudanese people rise up as a nation that wears the crown of all nations and welcomes the bridegroom Jesus as a holy bride!
