47 and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. (Luke 24:47-48)
Lord, we hear news of people losing their lives and suffering due to a cyclone in southeastern India.
Please have mercy on those who are suffering due to the flood, and comfort the hearts of those who lost their families and homes.
Please send relief to the souls who have suffered flood damage and let the damage be quickly restored, and above all, let the gospel be preached to them.
When the Lord ascended to heaven, He promised that repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be spread to all nations, starting from Jerusalem.
Please let repentance for the forgiveness of sins be spread among the souls of India who have become poor in spirit, and help them return to Jesus, who is the Savior of their souls.
Furthermore, would you raise up the Indian people as witnesses who testify of this to all nations!
