[Field Story] Israeli Army Bombs West Bank Again… “At Least 6 Dead”

Reuters reported that the Israeli military bombed the West Bank of the Jordan River on the 5th (local time), killing at least 6 people.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Red Crescent (Islamic Red Cross), Israeli aircraft carried out three airstrikes on the Tubas area in the northeastern West Bank early this morning, killing six people and wounding three. The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that five people were killed.

The Israeli military claimed it had struck targets it considered a threat.

On the 28th of last month, the Israeli military launched a large-scale military operation in the West Bank, including airstrikes and ground troops in Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tubas.

On the 30th of last month, a car carrying three members of the Palestinian armed group Hamas, including Wasem Hazem, was bombed by an Israeli military aircraft in Jenin, killing all three.

WAFA reported that as of today, the ninth day of Israeli military operations in the West Bank, the death toll in the area has exceeded 40.
