[Field Story] The disciple of the Lord who only follows Jesus, Georgia

(The above image has not affiliation with the content)

Hello, my name is Chira who lives in Georgia.

I recently broke up with my boyfriend, whom I planned to get married, and had a hard time because I was hurt, but I moved to another city and have been living there until now.

And I became close with the Christians that I coincidently met here.

Originally, I attended the Georgian Orthodox Church, so I was able to socialize with them with an open mind.

Even though I was a Christian, I was always full of worldly concerns and worries, God's dreams and visions that was shared by them was new to me.

As much as he loved me, I felt that God's love for the lost souls was so great, and I had no choice but to be thrilled that he came to me with this great love.

Another grace was that in the Orthodox Church, individuals could not own a Bible, so while reading the Bible freely with my Christian friends, I could feel I was escapting my concerns and anxieties, and felt God's love and peace.

I was renewed once again with the love of God!

I want my life to serve not only me, but also the lost souls of Georgia, and to preach the gospel to them.

I'm still hesitant and afraid of what and how I can serve in the face of reality, please pray that the kingdom of God will come here in Georgia and that many young people will rise up as disciples, as they follow the Lord like me, and that I will be used for this work.

Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save their life[b] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. (Mark 8:34-35)

God, let the true disciples of the Lord rise up in Georgia.

Raise up your disciples, armed with God's dreams and visions, who meditate and obey the words every day.

Let sister Chira, who is determined to follow Yeshua, preach the gospel to the souls of Georgia and to the nations, only through the power of the Holy Spirit, without looking at her reality.

Let the young generation of Georgia meet the living Yeshua, who is in charge of their life, and give them grace so that their lives may change like sister Chira.

At this time when the day is so close for our Lord to come back, let us be aware of the times through the Word, and be awake as we  look towards the eternal kingdom of God, and not the world that is decaying.

Let the gospel spread beyond Georgia to Jerusalem, through the countless disciples who will deny themselves, carry their crosses, and give their lives for Yeshua and the gospel!
