[Field News] Palestine, filling all nations with the peace of the Lord

My name is Jamil and I live in Palestine.

I was born as a Muslim, with a lot of harmony and conversation between family members.

However, I have been skeptical about Islam since I was young.

I liked English, so while I was studying interpretation as a major in college, I was accidentally invited to a church where foreign friends gathered, and I accepted Jesus.

When my parents found out that I had become a Christian, they got angry and I was locked at home for a few days, but I decided to follow the Lord's path until the end.

At a recent church meeting, we spent time praying and reading a prayer letter from a student missionary serving Syrian refugees in Turkey from Palestine.

As I read the sister's prayer letter, I felt that the Lord was calling me to become a student missionary as well.

Even though my parents took away my ID card and passport and prevented me from getting it reissued, I believe that the Lord will definitely send me to the nations.

Also, please pray with us so that our Palestinian people can become disciples of Jesus who follow Him to the nations until the end, despite the war!

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, nor let them be afraid. (John 14:27)

We praise the Lord for giving Sister Jamil a thirsty spirit even in a harmonious family environment and for guiding her to understand the truth through the Lord's messenger.

The work of the Lord, in which the Holy Spirit, who guided Sister Jamil to the truth, has now come upon her with power and is testifying the gospel to the ends of the earth, is truly amazing.

Lord, although Sister Jamil does not know how to move forward amid persecution at home, please give her the peace that the world cannot give so that she will not be anxious or afraid.

Please anoint the sisters who confess that they believe that the Lord will send them to all nations, so that they can be sent and go forward, and may the true peace poured down from heaven come to every land they step on.

Please help us boldly proclaim the gospel of peace wherever we go, so that through this the Palestinian people, who are fearful of war and death, can experience peace they have never felt before and run to the Lord Jesus with tears.

In this way, please help the Palestinian people stop the war on this land, confess that they love only Jesus Christ, the truth, and rise up as a holy nation that fills all nations suffering from war with the gospel of the Lord and the peace of heaven!
