[Prayer of the Day] UNICEF: “A total of 335,000 children under the age of 5 in Gaza are at risk of malnutrition”

A UN agency has claimed that 335,000 children under the age of five in the Gaza Strip are at risk of severe malnutrition.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said in a statement on the 22nd (local time), “As the food crisis in the Gaza Strip worsens, all children under the age of five in the Gaza Strip, numbering 335,000, face the risk of severe malnutrition and death. “He said.

UNICEF also predicted that “in the coming weeks, at least 10,000 children under the age of five will suffer from life-threatening forms of (severe) malnutrition and will require therapeutic food.”

“We are particularly concerned about the nutritional status of more than 155,000 pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and more than 135,000 two-year-old infants in Gaza,” he said.

According to a UN report released on the 21st, all 2.3 million Gaza residents are experiencing a food crisis at a certain level, and 576,600 of them are driven to 'catastrophic' hunger.

Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres criticized Israel's airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on the 22nd (local time), saying they were creating "enormous obstacles" to the distribution of humanitarian aid, and repeatedly called for a ceasefire.

Secretary-General Guterres said at a press conference held at the United Nations headquarters in New York that day, saying, “It is a mistake to judge the success of the support operation in the Gaza Strip by measuring the number of trucks entering.”

I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you (John 14:18)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

We praise God, Emmanuel, who loves us and is with us forever.

Lord, at this time, we lift up and pray for the children who are starving and suffering due to the war between Israel and Palestine.

Millions of people, especially over 300,000 young children, are dying because they have nothing to eat. Lord, I ask you to have mercy on them.

Just as you said that you will not leave us like orphans, let the hand of the Lord reach out to those who have fallen from cold, poverty, and hunger.

Please take care of helpless young children who cannot do anything amid the fear and fear of death called war, and protect them by providing them with daily bread and warm water.

Lord, I pray that the war that is causing so many souls to suffer will end as soon as possible.

Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, please grant us the grace of peace through the grace of

your precious blood.
