[Today's Prayer] 115 injured in large explosion at southern Iranian port... casualties may increase

On the 26th (local time), a large explosion occurred at the port of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran, injuring at least 115 people.

According to Reuters and AFP, a large explosion occurred at the Shahid Raja port in Bandar Abbas on that day. The exact cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.

A local official said, "Several containers exploded in the dock area," and the injured are being transported to the hospital.

The number of injured was initially reported to be 47, but has now increased to 115. Considering the large number of port workers, the number of casualties may increase further.

The explosion occurred at the same time that Iran began the third round of nuclear negotiations with the United States in Oman.

Lord, we continue to hear news related to nuclear weapons from Iran. This explosion occurred during the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States. Please guide us so that distrust and misunderstanding between us do not deepen.

Iran’s winter, with its continued economic crisis and chaotic social atmosphere, will soon pass, and I believe that the time will come when we will worship You with joy and bear the fruit of new life.

For this work, I want the Iranian church and the world church to pray more for Iran and spread the gospel. Please continue to sow the seeds of the gospel on the anxious and dry land, and let us water the land through prayer.

I believe that the Lord has left behind churches and people of faith like stumps all over Iran. Please let them rise up more and become holy people who proclaim and cry out the name of the Lord even in the midst of any persecution and suffering.
