[Today’s Prayer] At least 30 dead, 75 injured from gas station blast in Dagestan

A massive explosion at a gas station in southern Russia's Republic of Dagestan killed 30 people and injured dozens, Russian officials said on the 15th.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced that a total 105 people were injured and 30 of them had died. Dagestan governor Sergey Melikov said three children were among the dead.

The explosion occurred on the outskirts of Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan, on the night of the 14th (local time). Russia's state-run RIA Novosti news agency reported, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations, that a fire that started at a car repair shop spread to a nearby gas station, causing an explosion and engulfing an area of 600 square meters on fire.

Meanwhile, another explosion that night killed two people and injured five others at an oil field in Khanty-Mansiysk in Western Siberia, Russia.

Lord, we believe you hear the voice of the souls of Dagestan. At this time when we are filled with sorrow due to the news of death, may they obtain help from God, who is our strength and shield, and let the grace of salvation be upon your people.

Help them to know that the only way to go before God is through the blood of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, so that they can meet the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth.

Lord, comfort them in their sorrow, so that the land of Dagestan will be filled with the sound of seeking the Lord Jesus Christ. May all ideologies that have been raise above Jesus be demolished and may they be the people that will follow Yeshua, the shepherd to be led eternally.

May they become a country that preaches the gospel to all souls who are dying without knowing Jesus Christ!
