[Today's prayer] First relief ship arrives in Gaza... Delivered 200 tons of relief goods including food

On the 15th (local time), relief supplies were delivered to the Gaza Strip in Palestine, which is on the brink of famine, by sea for the first time.

Foreign media such as Reuters and AFP reported that the Open Arms, which departed from Larnaca, Cyprus, carrying 200 tons of relief goods, arrived in the Gaza Strip this morning.

The Israeli military said that the cargo was unloaded from the Open Arms this afternoon and loaded onto 12 trucks.

Previously, the Open Arms departed from Cyprus on the 12th towing a barge loaded with food, water, and humanitarian goods such as rice, flour, beans, tuna, and canned meat.

According to Reuters, 115 tons of food and water were unloaded among the relief supplies.

Relief goods will be delivered to residents of the northern Gaza Strip, including Gaza City.

It is reported that there are currently about 300,000 Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip.

Reuters predicted that if relief goods are delivered by sea successfully, it will help alleviate the hunger suffered by hundreds of thousands of Gaza residents.
