[Today's Prayer] "Israel prepares for Operation Rapha in stages...To minimize damage to civilians due to concerns such as the U.S"

It has been reported that Israel, under pressure from the United States and the international community, has decided to carry out a gradual and slow operation to minimize civilian damage rather than conduct a large-scale ground operation in Rafa, the southernmost part of Gaza.

Citing Egyptian and former Israeli officials, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on the 24th (local time) that Israeli forces have chosen a phased approach, such as evacuating nearby residents in advance before entering certain areas in Rafa.

Egyptian officials, who were informed of the Rafa attack plan, said Israeli forces would set a more specific range of engagements than before and work with the Egyptian side to secure the border.

Jacob Nagel, who served as Israel's national security adviser, explained that the operation in Rafa was conducted in a different way than the ground war in northern and central Gaza in the early days of the war.

He said Israeli forces planned to independently target certain areas in Rafa and then move sequentially, evacuating residents accordingly.

The Israeli military has not made an official position in this regard.

The international community's pressure is cited as the reason why Israel has reduced the size of its operation ahead of the Rafa attack.

Currently, more than 1.4 million refugees are concentrated in Rafa, and the United States and many countries have dissuaded Israel, saying they are concerned about large-scale casualties if ground operations are carried out.

As a result, the Israeli military has announced plans to evacuate them and then enter Rafa to minimize civilian damage.

In fact, a large tent village believed to be aimed at evacuating civilians in Rafa was built in Khan Younis, central Gaza, and a kind of "humanitarian zone" was created in Almawa City, Gaza's western coastal city.

In addition, Israeli forces are reportedly preparing to evacuate Rafa residents to Khan Younis or other areas for two to three weeks.

However, it is unclear whether Israel will actually be able to reduce civilian damage through such efforts.

"We have not approved military operations," U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs Barbara Leaf told the WSJ. "We have made it clear (that we oppose) carrying out military operations in a situation where more than a million people are concentrated."

U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller also pointed out in a briefing on the 22nd that "there is no way to conduct operations in Rafa that do not cause excessive civilian damage and do not seriously interfere with humanitarian aid."

"They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment" (Hebrews 1:11)

Everlasting God, as the global church we want to pray for Israel and Palestine in the situation where the constant war between them is getting worse and worse.

we cannot even pathom these two nations' pain and suffering though, Lord you are more suffer from their war and conflicts than anyone else, hold on them so that the news of death and suffering will no longer be heard in Rafa, Gaza, Isarael and Palestine!

Let the tears of so many souls end now, and let their eyes be on God and the heavenly hope of God's kingdom, not the pain of the earth!

Let us now realize that a gorge of the deep conflict, political colors, and ideologies between the two nations are not eternal and important, as clothes are worn out, but that it is important to know God's vision of the kingdome and eternal God!

when the global church wakes up and pray, let the real peace that comes only from Yeshua, which the world cannot give out among these two nations, come strong on them!
