[Today's Prayer] Israel's massive airstrikes on Lebanon... "The most powerful since the start of the war"

Israel conducted massive airstrikes across southern Lebanon. It was a day after pagers and radios exploded simultaneously in Lebanon.

According to the Times of Israel (TOI) and other sources on the 19th (local time), the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted dozens of airstrikes in Lebanon starting that afternoon, attacking over 100 Hezbollah rocket launchers in the south.

The IDF also announced that it had attacked Hezbollah-owned buildings and weapons storage facilities in several areas of southern Lebanon. The timing of the attacks was timed to coincide with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's televised speech.

TOI quoted a Lebanese security source and reported that it was the most powerful attack on Hezbollah since the outbreak of the Gaza Strip war on October 7 last year.

After the airstrikes, the IDF advised northern Israelis to take refuge near shelters such as bunkers in case of Hezbollah's retaliatory attacks.

Hezbollah attacked northern Israel this morning with explosive drones. Two Israeli soldiers were killed and nine were injured.

Israel has added to its war goals the return of northern residents who fled due to armed conflict with Lebanon, and is expressing its will to continue military operations until this is achieved.

Defense Minister Yoav Galant said at an IDF leadership meeting, "Our goal is to safely return northern residents to their homes," and warned, "As time goes by, Hezbollah will pay a greater price."

On the 17th and 18th, in Lebanon, portable pagers and radios carried by thousands of Hezbollah members exploded. The attacks killed 37 people and injured about 3,000.
