[Today's Prayer] Jordan and Egypt leaders "oppose Palestinian immigration"

The day after King Abdullah II of Jordan met with US President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi and King Abdullah II once again emphasized their respective positions on opposing Palestinian immigration.
On the 12th (local time), the Egyptian presidential office reported that the two leaders reaffirmed the strong historical ties between the two countries and their commitment to the region, according to AFP and dpa. This statement came a day after King Abdullah II met with US President Trump in Washington, and he reiterated his opposition to Trump's proposal to "improve the immigration of Gaza residents to neighboring Arab countries and real estate development."
Mohamed Shanawi, Egyptian presidential spokesman, said, "The two leaders emphasized the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire, the continued release of hostages and Palestinian prisoners, and the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid." They also stressed that the Palestinian exodus must be stopped and the reconstruction of Gaza must begin immediately. The two leaders also condemned Israel’s continued military action in the West Bank and urged a halt to the worsening situation for the Palestinians.
President Abdel Fattah Sisi also said that he would not go to Washington as long as Trump’s plan to “relocate Gaza residents” was included, despite Trump’s public invitation to visit the White House earlier this month.
Egypt has received more than $87 billion in aid from the United States since 1946. In particular, since signing the Camp David Accords with Israel in 1979, Egypt has received $1.4 billion in annual military assistance from the United States. Egypt is the second-largest recipient of US aid in the Middle East after Israel, and in December last year, the United States approved more than $5 billion in arms sales to Egypt.
Jordan also established diplomatic, tourism, and trade relations with Israel when it signed the Wadi Araba Treaty in 1994. The United States provides Jordan with $1.72 billion in annual aid.
Dima Tukan, an expert at the Middle East Institute, told Al Jazeera that “Jordan has long played a role as a pro-Western country, protecting Israel from Iran and the Axis of Resistance, and accepting refugees.” Tukan analyzed that “if the US insists on withdrawing aid, other Middle Eastern countries may try to influence Jordan through funding.” He also pointed out that Jordan has already accepted about 2 million Palestinian refugees, and since Palestinians make up a significant portion of the population, accepting additional refugees could lead to greater confusion over demographics and national identity.
UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Nahyan also told US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the 12th that peace in the Middle East should be based on a “two-state solution” that recognizes the independence of both Israel and Palestine, according to the state-run United Arab Emirates (WAM) news agency. The United Arab Emirates is the leading Arab country that signed the Abraham Accords and signed a peace agreement with Israel during the first term of the Trump administration on August 13, 2020.

Meanwhile, the second ceasefire negotiations are still at a standstill. The Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo, Egypt, and is waiting for the ceasefire agreement to resume. Mahmoud Mardawi, a Hamas official, told Al Jazeera on the 15th (local time) that there was a high possibility that the three Israeli hostages would be released as planned.

Earlier, Hamas postponed the release of the hostages indefinitely, citing Israel's violation of the agreement.

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the strong; God has chosen the lowly things of the world and the despised things, even the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast in the presence of God. (1 Corinthians 1:27-29)
We hear news that the presidents of Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates have come out against the 'Gaza Relocation' plan proposed by US President Trump.
Even in the Arab world, countries that are considered representative pro-American and pro-Israel countries are opposing the plan to “move Gaza residents” even considering the withdrawal of American aid, and as the leaders of each country, who were considered the wisest and strongest, look at this situation where they cannot solve the Israel-Palestine problem, let us pray for the Palestinian people who are looked down upon, despised, and looked down upon even at this moment.
While Egypt insists on a complete ceasefire and reconstruction in Gaza and Jordan is concerned about national identity, may God, who can lead us to the best path, lead us to the best path between Israel and Palestine.
We truly believe that now, when no flesh can boast, is the time for the gospel to be witnessed and the time for churches to unite in the Holy Spirit and show an example of service with a heart of debt.
Holy Spirit, grant power to those who believe that only the cross of Jesus Christ can solve the long-standing problem between Israel and Palestine, and grant them the grace to love even their enemies.
When the local churches in Israel and Palestine unite and cry out for their people first, may God's work that transcends the people be done.
May the local churches in Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates testify that they belong to the kingdom of God, and may the concerns of the Israeli-Palestinian people who hear this disappear about the land they are walking on with their flesh.
In this way, may Israel and Palestine resolve the chain of conflict that they have not been able to resolve throughout the 5,000 years of biblical history through Jesus Christ, and may they rise up as the last disciple and the last leader, and break through the blockages of the nations, and may they become a nation that moves forward powerfully with the Lord on the road to His return!
