[Today's Prayer] Pakistan Claims India Supports Terrorism in Pakistan and Other South Asian Countries

Pakistan has claimed that India, with whom it has a hostile relationship due to territorial disputes, has been supporting terrorism not only in Pakistan but also in other South Asian countries.

According to the Pakistani daily Dawn and other sources on the 21st, Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Shafqat Khan stated at a press conference the previous day, "Instead of criticizing other countries, India should reflect on its record of assassinations, subversion, and terrorism supported in foreign territories," making this claim.

Spokesperson Khan added, "India has been trying to create instability in the entire region, in all South Asian countries. They have been carrying out global assassination operations."

He stated that India's support for foreign terrorist activities is very clear, but did not provide specific evidence.

He then mentioned the recent train kidnapping incident in the southwestern Balochistan region, repeatedly asserting that India is involved with the forces that carried out the incident.

In Balochistan, on the 11th, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist rebel group advocating for Baloch independence, detonated a railway track and kidnapped a train carrying about 400 passengers, holding them hostage. The Pakistani military then raided the train the following day, killing 33 BLA members and rescuing about 350 hostages.

This incident resulted in the deaths of 23 soldiers and 31 passengers.

In Balochistan, which is rich in mineral resources and being developed with Chinese capital, the BLA, and in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) are the largest armed groups, respectively.

Pakistan and India, which gained independence after being separated from British colonial rule in 1947, have fought several wars over the territorial dispute in the Kashmir region but have not resolved the issue, dividing Kashmir between them.

Amidst this, India claims that Pakistani-backed terrorist groups frequently infiltrate and carry out terror attacks in Indian-administered Kashmir, while Pakistan denies this.

"Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses." (Proverbs 10:12 ESV)

Loving God, we hear the news that Pakistan has claimed that India is supporting terrorism in South Asian countries, attempting to create instability.

God, we pray for Pakistan and India, which have been divided into two nations due to religion and have been in conflict for a long time.

Pakistan and India have experienced much pain in their conflict, and the strife continues. God, who is love, may the accusations and threats against each other stop in these two nations.

Lord, may the love of Jesus Christ, who came to this earth for us sinners, be poured out even more in the lands of Pakistan and India, so that through Your love, they may forgive each other's sins and become Pakistan and India that love each other.

Lord, in these last times of mutual opposition and hatred, we desire that Pakistan and India now unite as one in You and become a holy church that prepares for Your coming.

For this, may the Pakistani and Indian churches first pray for each other and reconcile. Pour out the Holy Spirit, and may they run together towards all the suffering nations with the heart of the Lord!
