[Today’s Prayer] "Stop now"…Israeli hostage families hold 24-hour rally for ‘100th day of war’

Local media, including the daily Times of Israel, reported on the 14th (local time) that a 24-hour rally with the participation of hostage families was held in Tel Aviv, Israel, to mark the 100th day of the war between Israel and Hamas.

The rally, which began at Habima Square in central Tel Aviv just after sunset the previous day, was attended by an estimated 120,000 people, including family members and relatives of the 132 hostages held in the Gaza Strip for 100 days, as well as ordinary citizens calling for the release of the hostages.

Family members who spoke at the rally expressed their dissatisfaction and anger that the government was not proactive in releasing the hostages, expressing regret that the time for the hostages to return safely was running out.

Ronen Neutra, whose son was captured by Hamas and taken to the Gaza Strip on October 7th last year, said, “The best response is not the mobilization of military force, but a political solution,” and urged an end to the war in the Gaza Strip and the return of the hostages.

Yamit Ashkenazy, whose younger sister was taken hostage, cried, saying, "Everyone, including me, does not want my beloved family to come back lying in a coffin."

Sigi Cohen, the mother of a man who was taken hostage during a music festival, said, "(If we hadn't been taken hostage), my son would have gone on a 100-day trip to Thailand and gotten engaged to his girlfriend," and added, "We are exhausted. We had enough of war. Bring them home,” she appealed.

Aaron Ciehanover, co-recipient of the 2004 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, asked, "Why did you create a country if you can't even secure security?" and then added, "The leaders failed and the military did not protect the citizens. If the hostages do not returned now, the government will not see any citizens left”, He raised his voice, saying, 

About 150 companies in Israel went on strike for 100 minutes that day in solidarity with the hostage families. Meta Israel, fast food chain McDonald's, and household goods chain Fox Home participated in the strike.

During this season, through the mighty work of God, allow the time of salvation as people meet the living Yeshua; rebuilding the David's collapsed tent and let the words be fulfilled by rebuilding what has been broken down.

Now let the rest of the world and all the Gentiles who are called in the name of the Lord, make the last great revival in Israel and Palestine.
