[Today’s Prayer] Turkish Foreign Minister, Blinken Call, "Will to Eradicate Syrian Kurdish Militia"
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said in a telephone conference with U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken on the 28th (local time) that the Turkish government will prohibit armed groups, such as the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia, which it has designated as illegal organizations, from continuing to operate in Syria.
Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency also quoted Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Onku Keseli as saying, "Minister Fidan emphasized the importance of a peaceful regime change and internal stability in Syria during the meeting today." While pledging
Turkey's commitment to guaranteeing Syria's territory and security, Minister Fidan repeatedly emphasized that the continued presence of PKK-YPG armed groups within Syria must be prevented.
In a statement released by the U.S. State Department about the talks, Secretary Blinken stated the principle of "supporting and assisting a Syrian-led, Syrian political transition, and working together to establish an inclusive and representative government that upholds human rights." However,
the Turkish government also views the YPG as an outskirts of the PKK, which the U.S., Turkey, and European Union countries have designated as an illegal organization. The PKK in Syria is an armed group that has been fighting the Turkish government forces for over a decade.
For this reason, the Turkish government has long criticized the U.S. for supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a Kurdish force in northern Syria, of which the YPG is the main member. Turkey views such aid as ultimately supporting the PKK.
For this reason, the Turkish government has carried out several large-scale invasion operations against the YPG in northern Syria since 2016, including Operation "Shield of the Euphrates" in 2016, Operation "Olive Branch" in 2018, and Operation "Spring of Peace" in 2019-2020.
Due to these invasion and mop-up operations, Turkey and Syria, although both members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), have continued to be tense and at odds with each other.

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” (Revelations 21:4-5)
We hear that Turkiye will intervene to prevent Kurdish independence forces from operating in Syria.
Lord, as the Kurdish forces threaten to enter Syrian territory and attack the Kurdish people, would you have compassion on the Kurds, who live without a country, and pour out the hope of Your kingdom.
We ask that You recognize the tears of the Kurds who are without independence, and that You wash their wounds and tears with Your blood! We ask that You comfort the Kurds who are scattered throughout Arabia and Persia, including Turkiye and Syria, who do not speak the language and culture of their homeland, and who are persecuted in Turkiye! May the Kurds now be free in Your cross!
Let the suffering of the Kurdish people disappear, let there be no death and no tears, and let their former shame and suffering pass away, so that they may become a people who set their hope anew in Your kingdom!
May the Kurdish people be renewed by the truth of the true Gospel, relying on You on the throne! May the Turkiye and Kurdish peoples forgive each other and be united by the cross love of Jesus, who endured all things and accomplished salvation!
For this purpose, may the global church serve the Kurdish people in intercession, armed with the Word, and preach the Gospel.
Let Your church be planted among the Kurdish people, obedient to Your righteousness, kingdom, and authority! Raise up a Kurdish gospel army to fulfil the Great Commission!
