[Today’s Prayer] US State Department Meets Saudi Crown Prince… Explains Trump's Plan for Gaza and Ukraine

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Secretary Rubio discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and recent regional and international issues, SPA reported.
Secretary Rubio also met with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the State Department said in a news release. The Secretary discussed ways to strengthen the bilateral relationship with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and others, including increasing economic and defense cooperation between the two countries, the State Department said.
On this day, Secretary Rubio and Crown Prince Bin Salman reaffirmed the commitment of the United States and Saudi Arabia to the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire and the agreement with the Palestinian armed group Hamas to release hostages. In addition, Secretary Rubio emphasized the importance of a solution related to the Gaza Strip that contributes to regional security, the State Department said.
Secretary Rubio, who is continuing his tour of the Middle East following his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Riyadh on the 16th, will meet with the Russian delegation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the 18th along with Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy for the Middle East, to discuss ways to end the war in Ukraine.
A Russian delegation, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Kremlin Foreign Affairs Adviser Yuri Ushakov, also arrived in Riyadh today.
There is speculation that Saudi Arabia will play a mediating role in this meeting, given the long-standing close relationship between President Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed Salman. President Trump chose Saudi Arabia as the first country he visited during his first term in office, and his first phone call with a foreign leader after taking office for his second term was with Crown Prince Mohammed Salman.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
God, we hear that Saudi Crown Prince bin Salman and U.S. Secretary of State Rubio have discussed world affairs, including a cease-fire in Gaza and options for ending the Ukraine-Russia war.
We see that man's methods of finding peace cannot wipe away the tears shed by the nations. We pray that Jesus' crucified hands will bind the wounds of the nations and that the world will find true peace in Jesus.
May the powers of this world and all nations remember that Jesus' body was bought with a price, and may Saudi Arabia and all nations honor God by not using their bodies to serve the powers of this world.
As these important discussions are taking place in Saudi Arabia, may the Holy Spirit lead them to be a country that draws all nations to You through Your Word, not by mediating peace with worldly theories and values.
Let the global church preach the gospel, so that the gospel may be quickly spread among the Saudis, and let Saudi Arabia become a nation that comforts all nations with the gospel of the cross.
Let the global church run to every corner of the earth with the gospel, so that peace may be proclaimed among all nations with the gospel of the cross, and let the unity of the global church break the power of death among the nations.=
Thus, may we fulfill the words of Isaiah 21 in Saudi Arabia and prepare the way for Your coming with all the nations!
